What we collect
When you use Guild, we collect: - Account information — name, email, PayPal address, and the password hash you provide at signup. - Referral activity — clicks, leads, and conversions attributed to your tracking code, along with the page URL, referrer, IP address, user agent, and timestamps. - Commission records — order totals, commission amounts, payout history, and any adjustments.
How we use it
We use your data to run the affiliate program: attributing sales to you, calculating commissions, processing payouts, and providing reporting. We use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the product.
Who sees it
Your data is visible to: - You, in your affiliate dashboard. - Our team, for support and fraud review. - Our processors (PayPal for payouts, our hosting/DB provider for storage). We do not sell your data.
YouTube API Services
Guild uses YouTube API Services to help our team discover and evaluate public creator channels for potential partnership outreach. By using Guild, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
What we access and store: - Public channel data only — channel names, handles, subscriber counts, view statistics, recent video titles, and publicly listed contact emails returned by the YouTube Data API. We do NOT access private account data, and we do not use OAuth to connect to anyone's YouTube account. - Search results from the YouTube Data API are cached for up to 12 hours to reduce repeated API calls, then automatically expire. Cached entries are purged on a rolling basis within 48 hours. - If our team saves a creator as an outreach prospect, the public channel snapshot (name, subscriber count, public contact email) is stored in our recruiting pipeline until the prospect is closed or deleted.
Deletion: cached YouTube API data expires automatically as described above. If you are a creator whose public channel information appears in our recruiting pipeline and you would like it removed, email legal@ironsidecomputers.com and we will delete it within 7 days. You can also manage the data Google shares with third-party applications at Google's security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
Retention and deletion
We retain account and commission records for as long as you have an account plus 7 years after closure for tax and audit purposes. You can request earlier deletion of non-required fields by emailing us.
Deletion requests: email legal@ironsidecomputers.com from the address on your account. We delete or anonymize all personal data that we are not legally required to keep within 30 days, and confirm completion by email. Cached third-party API data (including YouTube API data) expires automatically within 48 hours regardless.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at legal@ironsidecomputers.com to exercise any of these rights.
